Tyler, his wife and four children live in a rural town in Northeastern Utah at the base of the Uinta Mountains. Having grown up in a small town in rural Idaho, Tyler was surrounded by strong family principles and hard work.  He believes in sharing those same principles with others and helping them to bring the best out in themselves.

Tyler created TLC  based on the the fundamentals and principals that he learned at an early age. Beside Tyler’s marriage to his wife, family has become the most important thing to him and he wants to share what he has developed in his own life with others.

During his teenage years, Tyler spent a lot of his time helping friends and peers with their problems.  This lead him to become interested in helping others and to pursue a degree in Social Work.

For the past 20 years, Tyler has been working with youth, families and couples in one aspect or another. Tyler has worked as a drug and alcohol counselor, a marriage counselor, a birth parent and adoption worker, a teacher of religious studies for youth, as a counselor in a Residential Treatment Facility for Boys, as a Juvenile Probation Officer, and as a Special Education Teacher.  Tyler has taught groups & classes in school, to couples  and throughout the community.

Tyler enjoys coaching Track and Cross Country at the local High School and Junior High, spending time with his family, going on dates with his wife, spending time in the outdoors doing just about anything, and watching a great movie.

Tyler believes that helping an individual achieve their goals an aspirations is one of the greatest joys that a person can experience.  His vision is to be able to offer a quality alternative option to counseling that can be  done in an individual’s own environment  and under their own terms.  

Education: 1998 - Bachelors in Social Work from Utah State University

                      2000 - Masters in Social Work from the University of Utah
